Summer 2013 Rec Soccer - Summer 2013
Divisions available and game days will
be as follows:
U4/5
Supermod: Practices and games are at the same time on Tuesdays. June 25th start date
U6/7
Supermod: Practices will be on Fridays with Saturday morning games. June 28th start date
Mod and Full-field season begins June 17 and goes through July 31.
Boys U8-BHS
play Tuesday & Thursday games
Girls U8-GHS
play Monday &Wednesday games Co-ed HS Division will play 2 games a week Monday-Thursday
Registration for Supermod will run from March 22-May 31 with late registration ending on June 7.
Registration for mod and full-field will run from March 18-May 10 with late registration ending on May 17.

Let's do a big push to finish up these teams!
I have removed late fees from the age groups that are really in need of players (U11-U18) until the 18th of May! Team information is due on May 20th so registration will close firmly on May 18th for U8-U18! Supermod registration will stay open until June 7th! I hate to turn kids away who want to play so let's do our best to get them
Here are our numbers as of today:
B-U8: 21 players
G-U8: 18 players
B-U9: 11 players
G-U9: 12 players
B-U10: 20 players (2 teams, in need of a second coach or would anyone be interested in moving up to U10?)
G-U10: 11 players
B-U11: 3 player (Late fee waived)
G-U11: 2 players (Late fee waived)
B-U12: 2 player (Late fee waived)
G-U12: 43 players (4 teams want to form but they really need a few more player for 2 because of how parent requests are)
B-U13/14: 5 players (Late fee waived)
G-U13/14: 0 player
B-U15: 0 player (Late fee waived)
G-U15: 7 players (Late fee waived)
Boys High School Division: 3 player (Late fee waived)
Girls High School Division: 6 players (Late fee waived)
Co-ed High School Division: 19 players (7 boys/12 girls)

Parents OR coaches may sign up teams to play!
Teams do not need "real coaches" – all they need is a willing adult to be "in charge."
Any group of kids may be combined into a team!
Players do not have to come from the same seasonal team, club, or organization.
Register your kids to play with their siblings and best friends!
Teams play to the oldest player's age group; co-ed teams play in the boys' division.

Registering to coach also requires a background check to be
conducted by Washington Youth Soccer via the Risk Management Application

As part of our new procedures we are asking that all who are interested in coaching (both head coach and assistant coaches) fill out and submit a coaching application to the club. We also highly encourage all coaches to have an assistant coach. To fill out the coaching application click here
and fill out all of the necessary information. Remember that in order for an adult to work on the field with a player they must have an RMA this process will help us to ensure that everyone who has requested has been checked for an RMA clearance.

| Prairie Soccer Club Coaching Clinic The Prairie Soccer Club Coaching Clinic will be held on May 30 and June 1 at 6:30 pm. It is not mandatory for you to attend both clinics however, you must attend one to to qualify for the Head Coach player discount. In addition we are adding that Asst. Coaches will now receive 50% off of their child's registration but they must also be able to attend one of these clinics. Location will be Longmire Park in Yelm.

TC UNITED SOCCER TRYOUTS HELD THIS MAY
TC United, a select and premier soccer program created by Chinqually Booters Soccer Club, is one of the most affordable competitive soccer programs in Thurston County. Tryouts are to form boys and girls teams U11-U19 for the 2013/2014 playing year. Any current U10 – U18 player seeking to participate on a team that plays at a select or premier level is invited to participate. Tryouts are located at the Regional Athetlic Complex (RAC) lower grass soccer fields, are free of charge, and online registration is available at www.thurstoncountyunited.org

| Blackhills Try-outs |

Tryouts for the 2013-2014 soccer year will be held at Blackhills Community Soccer Complex. It is strongly suggested that your player attend both tryout dates and please plan on being at the field at least 20 minutes early in order to sign in. Blackhills FC may add a player after tryouts to a team with available roster spots.

This summer we are excited to announce that Prairie Soccer Club will be teaming up with UK Elite Soccer to provide our players and coaches with fun, educational and cutting-edge development opportunities to ensure that our kids are ‘ready to play’. The Soccer Camp and School will use the UK Elite global coaching curriculum to help develop players technical and tactical ability.

Coaches Needed!
When you are signing your child up to play soccer, remember that none of this is possible without the wonderful volunteers we call coaches! If you are interested in coaching, follow the instructions under the registration tab. We offer opportunities for new coaches to get started as well as a collaborative evironment for seasoned coaches to share ideas. Prairie Soccer Club supports the continuing education of our coaches through financial assistance and we help our coaches earn their coaching licenses.
